Moodle can be used on a mobile device by downloading a native app, such as the Mobile app (the official Moodle mobile app for iPhone).

An administrator can also set a theme for mobile devices in Settings > Site administration > Appearance > Themes > Theme selector. New in Moodle 2.2 onwards is the MyMobile theme especially designed for mobile devices.
