In Moodle 2.2.4 and prior 2.x versions when we import resources from one course to the other, we get the user-added question categories from the first course to the second.

What it is stated for importing quizzes (in documentation tips) dues for every type of item (activity, resource). So even if we import a label from one course to the other, we'll get the user-added question categories too.

It would be nice if we could control this while importing.

We can avoid this only if we backup-restore the single item (no quiz item) we want to import. Although it's not convenient for more than one items, since we have to repeat again and again the process.

A normal backup excluding everything and mainting only the few (no quiz) items we want, will also take the question categories. ~ anna krassa, 26 Sept 2012
