Why this page

The "Notifications" article in MoodleDocs refers to security issues. The Notification feature in the Site administration block is a major improvement and needs its own page for the new user. --Chris collman 09:35, 8 September 2007 (CDT)

Thanks Chris, you're right about needing this page. It's rather confusing though, having 2 pages called "Notifications" in the site administration, don't you think? --Helen Foster 04:55, 11 September 2007 (CDT)

Yes. I am not sure about the solution. Renaming Notifications to "Security notifications", the place a disamb on a new Notification which would direct the user to either security or site notification page. My thoughts anyway, but first I thought I would create the site notification page and let the other details fall when they may :) --Chris collman 13:37, 11 September 2007 (CDT)
