Talk:Enrolment plugins

From MoodleDocs
The printable version is no longer supported and may have rendering errors. Please update your browser bookmarks and please use the default browser print function instead.

I cropped down the picture, (love that arrow) told reader where to find enrolment plugins and did some minor word edits, nothing technical.

Thanks Art. I see that "plugins" is similar to modules options. It is a site level thing. The alternative spellings of enrol and enroll are also driving me nuts. I never saw the Enrolment catagory until this morning. Off for my eye appointment on Monday (no kidding) and plan to have a pair of computer glasses with reading bi's, along with distance glasses with bi's. --Chris collman 10:00, 15 October 2006 (CDT)

Enrolment page

This falls under a major change and would like Helen's comment or direction.

This (Enrolment plugins) page is current a redirect of "Enrol". There is no page "Enrolment". This page gives enrolment information that exceeds the subject of Enrolment plugins, which in my opinion is a sub set of Enrolment. I would redirect Enrol to Enrolment. Enrolment might have brief descriptions with lots of links which give specific how tos (similar to Teacher documentation). Perhaps some examples of enrolment situtations.

Just a little free association that I may come back and link.

  • Various enrolment course settings in 1.6.2
    • Enrolment Plugins
    • Course enrollable
    • Enrollment duration:
    • Enrolment expiry notification (needs to be changed to "Expired enrolment notification")
    • Group mode
    • Enrollment key:
    • Guest access
    • Cost:
    • Is this a meta course
  • Group enrolment - found in groups
  • Role assignment - enrolment by any other name
  • Site enrolment - access
  • Student enrolment - generally what it is all about

Hi Chris, thanks for your comments :-) I've created a disambiguation page Enrolment (which enrol and Enrollment redirect to) for a brief description and lots of links as you suggest. --Helen Foster 07:17, 26 January 2007 (CST)
