I tend to agree with Helen here, the title is somewhat misleading which is probably why it was linked to from the "Moodle migration" page when it's really not that relevant to that topic. Perhaps change the title of this page to "Database UTF8 migration Q and A" Harry Smith 20:21, 23 April 2008 (CDT)
