I recommend that you make a backup of the Question folder. The test.zip file contains a folder named Test, a folder named Question, and files test.php, test_analysis.php, test_grading.php, test_overview.php, test_regrade.php, test_responses.php. Copy the folder Question into the moodle directory, and overwrite the existing folder. Copy the folder Test into the moodle directory/mod and copy the files to the folder moodle directory/lang/en_utf8. Once you have moved the files, you can install the Test  module by opening moodle and typing the adress …/moodle/admin (On my computer it is: http://localhost/moodle1_7/moodle/admin/). Now you are ready to use the Test module!!

It is easy to use the Test module, exactly the same as Quiz. In order to work properly you must chose the option 1 question per page. The Test module is set up to work with the following question types: match, essay and multichoice. In the newer versions, new types will be added. The test module adds a new tab which displays the questions, the users answers and the time that the user took to answer each question.
