Sticky blocks force one or more blocks to always appear on a site-wide basis. This effects all courses viewed by teachers and students and/or a [[My Moodle]] student view page.

Sticky blocks can be configured as an administrator from the Administration block using the admin link >> Miscelleanous Section and Sticky blocks. ''admin/stickyblocks.php'''  is the file name.

  • Sticky blocks force one or more blocks to always appear on a site-wide basis. This effects all courses viewed by teachers and students and/or a My Moodle student view page.
  • Sticky blocks may be configured via Administration >> Sticky blocks.
  • If the administrator adds a block which is already present in a particular course or one inserted by a student on their MyMoodle page then a duplicate block will appear. The sticky block will be non-editable whilst the duplicate will be editable by the student.
