Disruptive technologies

Welcome to Moodle. Just curious, I did not see disruptive technologies listed as a topic in your my Wikiversity user page "Activity / interests" section (cool revealing pulldowns). Is this a theme woven in many things and what does it mean? --Chris collman 07:33, 31 August 2008 (CDT)

Why all the duplicate page names?

I don't get the point of creating new pages like 'Quiz questoin types' redirecting to 'Question types'. What purpose do they serve? (The preceding unsigned comment was added by Tim Hunt (talkcontribs) 11:13, September 17, 2008.)

Thanks for the talk. That makes sense to me. I was genuinely asking for information, knowing that you were an experienced Wikipedia participant.--Tim Hunt 23:40, 16 September 2008 (CDT)

Sub page for your links

Hi, I looked at your Moodle.org personal links page. Followed up on some of the links. I do not think it is encouraged (read promoted) but I have a few sub pages on this MediaWiki, most of mine related to "how to" tricks or drafts for MoodleDocs. I put the links to them at the bottom of my personal page (otherwise I would forget and who knows, somebody else might find them useful :) )

I don't have a webserver or site that belongs to me alone. So I use the sub pages for strickly moodle related stuff and don't feel guilty. Just a thought --Chris collman 10:35, 18 September 2008 (CDT)

Offline quiz editor

Hello James,

I saw your posting over at https://docs.moodle.org/en/User_talk:Tim_Hunt. I have created an Import and export FAQ page where I try to collect all the scattered information on offline quiz creation. Feel free to add to the list!

I am also working on XML FAQ for a better documentation of Moodle XML, also with the aim of facilitating offline tools for creating quiz questions.

Kind regards, --Frank Ralf 04:04, 11 December 2008 (CST)

Cool tricks and demos in the Sandpit

Hi, was tracking down your UC links to change to University of Canberra. Like the TOCright. On a mission but I shall return to see what else you have done!

Happy New Year! --Chris collman 13:37, 30 December 2008 (CST)

Very interesting! I will make sure my site administrator sees the Sand Pit! So much to see, so little time:) The moving activity title caught my eye and I like the all the different ways. Also gives me ideas as per MoodleDocs and demo.moodle.org. You got me all ramped up this morning...again. Thanks--Chris collman 11:24, 15 July 2009 (UTC)

Hi James, The linked slideshare screenshots seem to be one off. If you click on the "Colored Boxes" for example you are directed to "Auto-linking". --Frank Ralf 12:23, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
