Found it! Site > Administration > Users > Authentication options --Donna Hrynkiw 17:55, 31 January 2007 (CST)

Must have been a pre 1.8 version. Authentication options do not exist in 1.8

Anyone can tell me where I can modify these settings in moodle 2.0 I cannot find the option. since there is no Administration > Users > Authentication. theres only ACCOUNTS and PERMISSIONS, and noone of them seems to have the option to hide the button.
