Coursetracking reports: Individual dynamic paths

From MoodleDocs

back to main

The Individual Dynamic Path browser is a powerfull report generator that is intended to analyse read paths of students within the content. It displays individual moves in the content, and draws individual separated curves vor VENI, VIDI and VICI signals.

The generated report is a 2D curve presenting horizontally the time axis and vertically the sequenced markers.

With many students and markers, drawing all information would result in an unreadable mess of lines. The report generator has been thus fitted with filters allowing a sharp focussing on "events of interest".

  • VENI, VIDI or VICI curves can be globally enabled or disabled.
  • The plotting can be filtered selecting a range of users.
  • The plotting can be filtered selecting a range of markers (just be aware that paths might forget some significant edges if source or destination marker is outside the range).
  • The plotting timerange can be tuned in extension and offset, and can be navigated by day, week, or month shifts.
